I have to disagree. That statement presents a very uninspiring philosophy, not to mention that it is a self wank fest. I would not be excited with the monotony of a replay, no matter how satisfied I was with the first trip around. There is far more to experience than wealth and satisfaction. With all due respect to a very successful person. That said, the interview was very interesting.
Interesting viewpoint. I totally agree and disagree.
What fascinated me by the statement was that he wouldn’t see doing it again as monotonous. He’s genuinely satisfied. Set aside his arrogance -and the accompanying wank fest- and there’s a man there that’s content with not only his accomplishments, but the whole journey along the way. I think that’s pretty cool.
I think satisfaction is probably the result everyone is fundamentally looking for. What gets you that varies drastically from one person to the next. Varied experiences, success, family, helping others. These are all ways that make people happy. These are all ways that make us satisfied, and in Mark Cuban’s case want to do it all over again.
